Dark Sector is my favorite game of 2008 so far. Incredible game, and will be getting a purchase from me.

the ability to rent or buy a game rests in all gamers. the ability to spout off one’s personal opinion about said game does too. the ability to inform the curious and or uniformed in a fresh and insightful light does not, however, apply to all. deacon, let’s just say that i think you fall into the fresh and insightful category, and thanks for taking the time and effort to give us a review that will at the very least let us decide to give this game a shot and not just let it pass by unnoticed or unplayed. let’s just say that now i want to weild the glaive, and i can decide later to buy after a rental!

yeah co-op would’ve been nice but then there’s only one main character so it would’ve been “weird” i guess.

and the better question is why is my choice in games so awesome?

Really though, I hear good things about this game if you are a Gears of War fan… The bad thing is that there is no Co-Op
