I know the DDB is ready for this one! Activision is set to release the Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on April 3rd along with the release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition in stores.
The Variety Map Pack includes four new multiplayer maps. “Creek” is a wide-open village ravaged by combat where concealment is the difference between life and death. In “Broadcast,” fight throughout an enemy communications building with confined corridors and wide-open parking lots. “Chinatown” is a foggy downtown district, lit only by a full moon and the neon glow of the city. “Killhouse” features a desolate training warehouse filled with a variety of building mock-ups and soft and hard cover points.

Since this was Game of the Year in most people’s eyes, I’m sure Activision will milk this cash cow for all its worth with this Map Pack. I don’t think it will be free anytime soon.
Tempting but I’m not sure if I’ll buy it.

As of today April 3rd..I haven’t seen the maps available. I read they’ll be on sometime tonight or early Friday Morning. I hate the waiting I expected that as of 12 am I would have been able to play these new maps :(..and it’s not true about the delay..that was confirmed by infinity ward themselves..the release is still 3rd or 4th which sucks..stick to one date arrrrrrrgh..but they said it’ll either be on tonight the 3rd or early the 4th..friday morning.
