Mass Effect Bring Down the Sky
As I mentioned last month, Mass Effect downloadable content arrived yesterday. Bring Down the Sky, the first in a series of planned downloadable content for Mass Effect, is available for everyone to download. (including Cooper Lawrence as well)
Bring Down the Sky includes a new uncharted world that introduces the notorious and feared alien race of the Batarians. A Batarian extremist group has hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Only Commander Shepard can save the millions of innocent civilians before the asteroid completes its deadly descent.
Bring Down the Sky contains approximately 90 minutes of heart-pounding action and a new Achievement worth 50 Gamerscore points. Anyone think the Batarians might harbor some form of sexual entertainment?

If you don’t have Mass Effect for the 360 yet and you have a good PC wait!!!! It’s coming out for the PC in May and it’s a lot less buggy.

I will eventually be buying this for my long awaited 2nd playthrough…but it may not be for a LONG time..I still have LO to finish, Condemned to rent and finish and then of course there is R6V2 to be permanently stuck in my disc tray for a few months…

I downloaded and finished it on the first day. It was great! A little short but I enjoyed it. It was nice to see the Batarians!

I downloaded it yesterday and I thought it was really good short but very enjoyable I think well worth 400 points.

Do you have to restart in order to access it? Or can you have a current load to take have access to it?

No you don’t have to restart. When you go into the system map you will see a tag (like the ones for Ferios, Noveria and Virmire) for a Asteriod.

400 points for an easy 50 gamerscore? Hells yeah.
Not to mention it’s actually fairly fun, and the “side mission” was fun, too. Even though I had already gotten the achievement, I had to go back out, because the game had tricked me into thinking I had already done the side mission!
