Why not start Monday off with another exciting Showcase?! Even though a little hateraid exists in this one, it’s still worthy of some shine.
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you Pittsburgh’s own, DJ the hater. (and whenver you feel froggy my friend!)
Tell us the story behind your Gamertag?
DJ comes from my first name initial and my middle name initial. The Steel comes from my location, Pittsburgh, home of the Steelers.

G, G, G…G-Unit! Sierra Entertainment is bringing 50 Cent back to the game (literally) with 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. I’m one of the people who surprisingly enjoyed 50 Cent: Bulletproof. I still play it on my PSP in fact. The screenshots for the latest Fiddy joint look promising.

“We are taking this sequel to the next level with exciting combat and gunplay, new original music, great graphics and a new story,” said 50 Cent. “50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will have everything my fans are looking for in a 50 Cent game.”
The 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand video game will feature multi-player drop-in and drop-out co-op, interactive counter-kills, driving, and aerial combat. Following the success of the 2005 Spike TV Video Game Award winning Best Original Song, “We May Be Crazy” 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will be packed with more exclusive unreleased music from 50 Cent and G-Unit.
“50 Cent and shooter fans everywhere came out to support 50 Cent in Bulletproof and made it a multi-million unit selling video game,” said Al Simone, senior vice president of Global Marketing for Sierra Entertainment. “Gamers will be excited that 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand provides the ultimate 50 Cent game experience.”
It drops this Fall so get ready to put the vitamin water down!
Sierra Entertainment dropped another Prototype goodie bag filled with a few new screenshots of Alex Mercer being the bad ass that we all wish we could be. Be sure to hit up the developer diary to hear how pumped up the team is on working on it. They got me pretty excited just talking about it.

I saw this on Joystiq early this morning and wanted to gauge the opinions of the U360 crowd on the pricing of Hothead Games’ Xbox Live Arcade title based on the boys over at Penny Arcade. It’s called Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness and it’s been priced at 1600 Microsoft Points ($20).
So now I suppose we can say that along with having some of the highest priced content in the Xbox Live Marketplace, they also now have matched the highest price for an Xbox Live Arcade title. There is a plan to deliver new episodes every few months yet no details on how much that will cost have been revealed.
They have rabid fans but are they rabid enough to produce yet another cash cow for the comic team? Cash rules everything around me…dollar, dollar bill yall!

I was never much of a fan of fantasy/strategy RPGs but I think I’m quickly having a change of heart after playing Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and taking a look at the next one in line for the Xbox 360. Atlus is gearing up for the release of Spectral Force 3 this May and it looks like something interesting. I know what you’re thinking. What exactly was Spectral 1 and 2 about? I don’t know but let’s just hope this one doesn’t end up being 4 disks.
Neverland…a world where gods resides in Heaven, the dead in the Underworld and humans, demons and various other races struggle for dominance amongst each other on the earth. There are 40 unique soldiers to enlist and over 150 missions to choose from. Are you ready to shape the face of nations?

Whenever I do one of my “best of” or “top lists” features here on U360, the feedback is always great. My latest article about Xbox.com’s Super MVP feature led to some interesting emails with questions about the program. I figured I would become Deacon, the Mythbuster, for a minute to give you all yet another great read. (because I love you all so)

XMVPs are paid by Microsoft to spread Xbox love across the interwebs - Although I could use more money with the pay increase, the truth is that this is a myth. We’re not employees of Microsoft so we don’t get to collect a check. There are former XMVPs that have ended up gaining employment within Microsoft but that’s a different animal. Being selected doesn’t bring any bacon home to daddy.
I won’t bite if you don’t come but I might just use my super powers to track you down and crush you! So come on out and mix it up with the Velvet Voice of reason and sanity and protector of gaming freedom.

I know you all love getting glances at the box art for upcoming games so go a round with the official cover for 2K Sports’ Don King Presents: Prizefighter. The screenshots I’ve seen so far are promising so I hope we’ll have a good boxing fix with this one.
“The combination of real-life fight scenarios, story-driven gameplay and photo-realistic graphics will set this title apart from the competition,” said Christoph Hartmann, President of 2K. “Our goal has always been to deliver the most engaging and realistic titles, and Don King Presents: Prizefighter will exceed these expectations. Based on the game’s innovative features and high-profile fighters, this title will be a ‘must have’ for any sports gamer.”

He’s an Xbox Ambassador and a professional seeker of hidden orange words. And now he’s taking some time for a U360 Showcase to let everyone in on his world.
Ready to see if this guy is as cowardly as his name suggests?

What is your life like outside of gaming?
I definitely have a balance between gaming and other non-gaming activities. I love playing sports. I play soccer, basketball, and tennis all on a team and I usually spend about 1-2 hours in the gym everyday. I do not have a job because I have school and I am not taking extremely hard classes, but I have sports everyday.
