What’s the story behind your Gamertag?

Well a strange story indeed, it came from a mistake on MS part my original GT: Thumpdaddy. It got corrupted on MS servers so I had to make a new Gamertag.  I was upset because I lost everything and the GT I wanted to use was F!!kThis so I settled for Thumpthis.

What do you do for a living? Besides play COD4.

You sure you wanna know? Well, for the last 9 1/2 years I have worked at Elmore County Corrections where I’m the Sergeant and have seen things I wish I could forget. But it makes me enjoy what I have at home.

As the one of the founding members of Deacon’s Deadly Blades, what has that experience been like for you so far?

I have to say it’s been an experience that I will never forget. All the people in the community have made it very enjoyable and always looking forward to playing with the Unscripted community.

What is a normal gaming session like for you?

You remember the first time you turned on your 360 and say damn this is what I have been waiting for all my life? That is the feeling I get every time I play my 360, looking where we have been and now look at where we are. Totally amazing.

I’ve seen you play Rock Band, so tell us who is your inner rock star?

Well I’m an older gentleman of 40 so my secret rock star would be…drum roll please…Jimi Hendrix.  Have you seen how he can smoke a guitar up?

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever heard on Xbox LIVE?

Well I guess the funniest thing I have heard was an Australian guy I spoke with while playing COD2.  In the middle of the room full of people he called me Humpdaddy. Come to find out I found the only Australian with a speech impediment.

Are you an Achievement junkie or a Gamerscore hoarder?

Do I have to say? Well, I have to say Gamerscore hoarder and can’t get enough of it.  It’s one of greatest ideas a company has ever come up with as it gives you a reason to play games you would never play again.

Do you have an archenemy on Xbox LIVE?

The RhymeScheme is the only person that is close to that label.  He is my real life friend and I’m always trying to stay ahead of him in COD 4.  But also remember he is the closest thing to having a little brother.

Hot celeb you’d like to be stranded on a desert island with?

This is a dream of mine.  Angelina Jolie.  She is a total freak and a woman that in the same time enjoys the 360 just check out her site.  Oh yeah!!!

This is not fair but the game type would have to be hard core as I have put many hours in and hate to say this but Thumpthis would take it.  Sorry my friends but the master is home.

Well sure.  I’d like to send kudos out to Deacon and his staff in striving to make U360 what it is today.  Kick back and enjoy the greatest community of people I have had the chance to play games with. I would like to give thanks for having me on a Showcase.
