It’s not prime time. It’s rhyme time! Gear up and get ready to look into the life of one of the 334 boyz!
Ladies and gentlemen get your popcorn ready.
Can you tell us what Rhyme’s life is like outside of gaming?
My life outside of gaming consists of my wife and kids. We try to go out and do things together as much as possible. At one point in my life I treated gaming as if there were no life outside of it and that’s not good for you or your family. I was a Lieutenant with our Fire Dept. here for 3 yrs and stepped down last year.
But other than that I just hang out with the family and enjoy life. Oh, I’m also a concert junkie.
Tell us, how did you choose the gamertag The RhymeScheme?
Well it’s actually a song title from my favorite band of all time, Cursive. Their music is really amazing and inspiring. And since the name Cursive was taken I had to run with the next best thing. You should listen to them sometime they’re awesome!!
As the founder of Deacon’s Deadly Blades, what was the inspiration behind creating the DDB?
The Unscripted community was my inspiration. We have bonded so well with all of our friends here and we thought there would be no better place to start a clan. So we got Deacon’s consent and off it went!
Is the DDB Clan a competitive one or do you play for fun?
I would say we are semi-competitive. We play for fun but everyone hates to lose so we try to do that as little as possible LOL.
What is a normal gaming session like for you?
During the week I play at night from 9 until about 11:30 and on the weekend it varies sometimes during the day and usually really late into the night.
What do you think is the best game of all time? Any Platform.
Wow this is hard to pick. I guess I would say Super Mario. I remember getting my NES and playing that thing non-stop.
Would you rather rock out to Guitar Hero III or take out Templar Knights in Assassin’s Creed? Why?
Probably Assassin’s Creed because I am a thinker and I like to figure out ways to get past certain things. Ask Thump, I had to get him through Condemned.
Are you an Achievement junkie or a Gamerscore hoarder?
I would say neither. I’m excited to get the Achievements but I don’t kill myself to get them. It makes the game more fulfilling having them though.
Throughout your whole gaming experience on Xbox Live is there anyone you have come across that you would call your arch nemesis?
Probably Sirharper but we only played on LIVE once. I guess he would be my forum nemesis. But I hold no grudges I like to get along with everyone.
Ok. One game. One shot. The three founding members of the DDB, You vs. Rayven Hunter vs. Thumpthis who wins and what game are you playing?
Wow hard question. No one wants to say they will lose at something so I’m calling COD4 with me as the winner because that’s how I see it in my head. They’re all great I think it would be an awesome match!
Any parting words?
Everyone enjoy life and your family and try to teach these kids on LIVE it’s not cool to trash talk when you sound like Elmo!!

[...] The RhymeScheme is the only person that is close to that label. He is my real life friend and I’m always trying to stay ahead of him in COD 4. But also remember he is the closest thing to having a little brother. [...]
