I'm of the opinion that althought MS would indeed get some gamers before they buy a PS3 by releasing an external BlueRay drive, it will go against the DLC framework they're setting up. Now, if they really want for everyone to get into the bandwagon (and hit Sony for it), they should: * Release an inexpensive external drive that allow us to save movies, videos and even the Xbox classics (and doesn't have any DRM issues) * Allows us to download the same on our PCs so we can view them via Media Centre I don't see the hard drive issue being resolved, as they haven't clear the data switch issues for so long (saves that don't work afterwards, price not going down, not all data being transferred, DRM issues).
