Canadian Xbox 360 Price Drop
To all my fellow Canadians who haven’t jumped on board the Xbox 360 train, you can now do so at a cheaper price than those before you. Microsoft announced that it’s dropping the price of its console in Canada again 6 months after the previous price drop. Unfortunately for the rest of North America it doesn’t seem likely that a price cut for the US will follow. (at least not yet)

All I can say is.. it’s about time. Honestly though, fantastic job, though all this does is make the price equal to US in respect to our equal dollar. That alone though is more than most companies are doing and greatly thanked. So, Thank you. I now have reason to look into getting an Elite.

Yeah, I might spring for an Elite, since my current (and 5th 360) seems to be marching towards an early grave. However, without a VMP for us at reasonable prices and access to television shows it’s hard to justify needing the larger hard drive.

and in some amount of years these will all be going for $50 just like all the systems before it have (mostly)

Supply and Demand… sounds like they are hard to find and sold way more early. Thats cool to hear when price cuts come for anyone. Working on my little brother to get one and price drops help.

This was overdue also when you consider the Canadian Dollar is worth very nearly 1:1 with the American Dollar for the first time in more than a generation.
