Free Guitar Hero 3 “Dream On” Download

To celebrate the recently announced ground-breaking collaboration with Aerosmith, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock fans will have the opportunity to download and jam to Aerosmith’s “Dream On.”  The song will be available for free from February 16-18 so make sure you’re rockin’ out on those days to score the free song.

I’m really surprised at the announcement and I’m wondering if there’s enough Aerosmith appeal to entice gamers to buy a game dedicated to them.  Oh well, you get a free song so yay.

    I’ll DL the song for free, but I honestly think that GH is on the decline…the amount of DLC is pathetic compared to Rock Band, which is IMO a far superior platform…

    I’ll pass…but hey, at least I have 2 kick ass wireless guitars from them to jam with…lol..

    Will download it asap. But Irish is correct. The amount of DLC available for ROCK BAND is far superior to anything GH3 has out. Not to mention way overpriced.

    I don’t own any of the GH titles yet. Can this be download to use later or is it only avilable through the game. I’m looking to pick GHIII up used at some point for the wireless guitar and a 2nc controller for Rockband. Then again, I might just drop money on the wireless guitar for Rocband due out around April. Bye Bye GH II & III then.

    Free is nice. I might have to put Rock Band away for long enough to play this song a time or two.

    is there any way for me to get the song on GH3 for XBOX 360 now even though it is after the deadline? Please help me. Can i dl it from the computer and put it on the xbox or something. Please help me my cousin has this song and i really want it but i dont want to pay 4 it.
