Some interesting news comes out of Microsoft and Xbox today concerning the new features on the Xbox 360. You can now edit your new personal profile information online at Xbox.com. This includes the Bio, Name and Location fields that were implemented in the last dashboard update.
Just simply log on to Xbox.com and click on Manage Profile > Edit Personal Profile. This adds some convenience I’m sure to all the Bio changing fiends out there. You can also view the personal profiles of users now online as well. Simply click a Gamercard and read up on the juicy details of your favorite gamers and friends.

Been wondering when they were going to do this.
One more feature I have been hoping for: ability to rate people you’ve played with, post-game, ONLINE, rather than solely through the console. Just give them their ‘preferred player’ rating or whatever, through the website. You wouldn’t need to do much extra, the list could be the same one as the ‘recently played with’ list on the 360, a max of 50 names or 14 days or however that works?

Nice to see they added this. Makes it easier to update than doing it on the console.

Good to hear, so much nicer to edit something with a real keyboard. Note to self, see about buying the Chat Pad Dude!

Deacon, as you’re close to the MS people for XBL, I was wondering about this: how difficult could it be for them to include a friends list filtering option by categories on the next Update, just as we have on Live Messenger? I have friends from around the world, including people in Spain, Latin America and the US. That way if I want to setup or invite to a game a group of people that only speak spanish (or only english) it could be faster to set it up.
Thanks.

that’s been asked quite a bit Tyrone. i wouldn’t be surprised if some variation of that is in the next Dash update.
