The next time you fire up Call of Duty 4 and connect to Xbox Live you’ll be prompted for the latest patch to fix a few issues with the game. Fans of the game should be happy with the new things this update brings.
Host migration, improved accuracy for snipers and ACOG scope users, an expanded Kill Cam, upgraded Spectator Cam, a Quick Mute option and a few other fixes.
[Update] - My buddy Robert (402) from Infinity Ward posted all the update details.

Atari hasn’t done a lot of things right in the last few years. Their next-generation offerings have been received by a very mixed crowd. Some hate what they’ve given thus far and some think things have been okay. With the help of Eden Studios, I think that’s about to change.
What I believe now is that everyone will soon be singing their praises because Alone in the Dark just managed a 10 on my OMG meter. After seeing the second round of gameplay footage, I’m convinced that we should no longer settle for mediocre from any of these developers. Alone in the Dark looks glorious right now! It could very well be the first true next-generation suspense thriller on the Xbox 360.

Gwen Stefani wannabes and stalkers alike get ready to rock out to some tracks from the blonde bombshell and her band. This epic set of master recordings is plucked straight from No Doubt’s diamond selling album and includes such beloved chart toppers as “Don’t Speak,” “Excuse Me Mr.,” and “Sunday Morning.”

In case you hadn’t seen and because Spring is fast approaching, Bungie has details on the first map, Ghost Town, in their Legendary Map Pack due soon. Fans of Halo 3 are probably itching to get this new map pack after spending tons of hours on the previous Heroic Map Pack. Remember, those of you who haven’t downloaded the Heroic Map Pack will be able to do so for free this Spring as well.

Q: What’s the fictional premise behind Ghost Town?
Vic: Ghost Town is the fragmented ruins of a small 24th century water purification complex that geographically lies just North and West of the jungle foothills hydroelectric facility from the Sierra 117 mission. The well-protected facility built into a shallow ravine was once home to the Global Water Campaign, where the still somewhat-pure Kilimanjaro meltwater was transported via pipelines from the river and directed to this small outpost where it became further purified, and then transported via GWC trans-African pipelines along the Tsavo Highway for distribution throughout the entire continent.
One of my very good Gamerchix friends, kikikat, let me know about a contest she’s having involving a very hot game and an even hotter woman some would say. I think it’s a nice little pairing of the two. She’s in need of a logo and she’s giving the lucky person who comes up with the best design, a pretty awesome prize. Read up on how to win Guitar Hero 3 signed by Carmen Electra.
Logo Entry Rules:
- You can submit 1-3 designs
- Must be .gif or .png
- Submit to feedback@breakingthegame.com with the subject “Logo Contest”
They’re also randomly giving away Microsoft Points and an Xbox Original, Sid Meier’s Pirates. I hope you designers out there are gearing up for this. (or not because that means my chances of winning increase)

It seems like our UK friends are having one heck of a deal for simply pre-ordering Lost Odyssey via HMV. Check out the details here on how to get 1000 Microsoft Points for pre-ordering Lost Odyssey. You have to pre-order by midnight tomorrow in order to score the points.
You’ve all read my Lost Odyssey impressions so you should know what I feel about this game. It rocks.

It may not be a genre that’s widespread but all I can say is “Bring My Diving Gear Now”. The ocean looks so glorious and it’s all “actual gameplay”. I can just imagine the intensity of being on a crab boat in the middle of a roaring ocean. Let’s just say I’m glad there’s a game coming to where I don’t really have to live it.
It looks like one of those niche games that might just surprise a lot of people. It’s no underwater diving sim but it’s close. And who won’t enjoy battling through oceans like this across Xbox Live? Feel the ocean, be the ocean. (feel free to email me for use of this cool phrase)

Who’s that thumpin’ in your window? Don’t run. He’s a pretty cool guy. Get to know one of DDB’s finest.
What’s the story behind your Gamertag?
Well a strange story indeed, it came from a mistake on MS part my original GT: Thumpdaddy. It got corrupted on MS servers so I had to make a new Gamertag. I was upset because I lost everything and the GT I wanted to use was F!!kThis so I settled for Thumpthis.
It wasn’t too long ago that Ninja Gaiden 2 was announced and we were all ready for some brutal fun. Since then the media campaign has been ramped up and we’ve seen quite a bit of the game. The Games Developers Conference (GDC) brought more gameplay madness and some new screenshots. Ninja Gaiden is one of my all-time favorite Xbox games so I’m excited about the true sequel to it. Ready to slice and dice?
Built from the ground up from Team NINJA’s in-house gaming engine for the next-generation Xbox 360 platform, “Ninja Gaiden II” represents the best in amazing visuals, responsive control and thrilling combat with an extensive assortment of ninja weaponry.

It’s not prime time. It’s rhyme time! Gear up and get ready to look into the life of one of the 334 boyz!
Ladies and gentlemen get your popcorn ready.
Can you tell us what Rhyme’s life is like outside of gaming?
My life outside of gaming consists of my wife and kids. We try to go out and do things together as much as possible. At one point in my life I treated gaming as if there were no life outside of it and that’s not good for you or your family. I was a Lieutenant with our Fire Dept. here for 3 yrs and stepped down last year.
But other than that I just hang out with the family and enjoy life. Oh, I’m also a concert junkie.
