Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Perhaps the most overlooked launch title during the debut of the Xbox 360 was Condemned: Criminal Origins. I loved the suspense and freaky mannequin moments that the game delivered. It was one of the more frightening yet glorious experiences I’ve had with a launch title on any system. I still remember how cool the internet experience was around the game. You could take part in the case right from the interweb. SEGA and Monolith Productions managed to capture one of those rare moments when the media surrounding a title was just as intriguing as the game.
I was very excited when SEGA and Monolith announced the sequel. Ethan Thomas is back. I’m here to let you know the website is up for Condemned 2: Bloodshot and it has a few creepy things for you to check out. It’s not as engaging as the original site (I feel for you if you misssed out on it) but it gives some good info about the sequel. I hope that Monolith brings the same edge-of-your-seat insanity that the original managed to deliver. Nothing is as it seems. Break out the case files!
Condemned 2: Bloodshot is slated to release on March 11, 2008 here in the US and on March 14, 2008 for Europe.

I am so excited for Condemned 2. Condemned is still one of my top 5 favorite Xbox 360 games and my favorite launch title since probably Super Mario 64 or Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast.

The first Condemned was one of my favorite games. It’s not easy to make me jump in movies or playing games but Condemned gave me mild heart attacks threw out the game lol. I can’t wait for part 2! Ethan was a soft bad ass in the first game but now his personality matches his bad assness.

the game was great and the original site surrounding it was even better. i wish they had done that again with C2. i’m looking forward to all the forenzic stuff!

I loved the original as well. That crazy department store level with those dummies scares me just thinking about it 0_0

That store level sucked! I’m walking then all of a sudden a dum dummy comes outa no where and scares the hell out of me?!?!? That wasn’t nice lol. Okay it didn’t suck, it was one of my favorite levels but it was still mean XD

yeah the department level with those mannequins was easily one of the best sequences in a videogame.

best scare of the game had to do with the camera and a body in a locker
…wow, did I jump…lol..
really looking forward to C2 myself, not terribly interested in the MP so the campaign better be great..

Yep, Condemned was a freakish use of the controller rumble-pad. Not one to be normally freaked out I found that I couldn’t play the game after dark, since it was too freaky. The opening sequence where you go through the dingy, dark-lit hallway and the police-dude’s flashlight goes out set the tone for the rest of the game.
I think the part in the office building when you look down and see you “shite yourself” has to be one of the freaky moments. Good game and a worthy 1000 points of achievements.

i played the first at my friends at 2 in the morning. needless to say i hope this one delivers like the first
