Ready to take on some 3rd person action? Primarily a score-based game, The Club is Bizarre Creation’s take on the third person shooter.
The gameplay is fast paced and very arcadey; don’t even think about hiding behind cover in this one folks! A unique new scoring system asks you to chain kills together in quick succession, building up your combo and grabbing you more points. The higher your combo the faster the bar ticks down, so it gets tougher and tougher to continue your deadly killing spree.

Downloaded it earlier. Seems like Bizarre took PGR’s Kudos combo system and implemented it into a 3rd person shooter.Pretty fun and challenging.Sucks the Multiplayer in the demo is restricted to split-screen only. Not sure if I would buy it, but definitely a Gamefly rental.

New to me, haven’t seen anything about this one. I like to give just about everything a try. Not a big fan of thrid person views. Mental block I guess, feel like it gets in my way and I’m suppose to shoot at myself or something. Guess it all depends on how its done. Best third person game I’ve ever played is Diablo 2. I’ll be all over that if it hits the Xbox 360.

I didn’t really like the demo. The graphics are pretty good but everything else just seems rather weak.

I downloaded the demo and….. Meh. Its not bad and its not great. I think that I am spoiled by the Triple A shooters (COD4, Halo 3, etc.) out there that do what this game does, only better. Hopefully the full retail release will open up some new and innovative gameplay that is not present in the demo.
