Monday Morning Scripted – Catch 5
I’m enjoying a day off today but I couldn’t forget about the Monday Morning Scripted fans out there. Happy Monday and thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for all your contributions.
We had a great live show this past Saturday with the Catch 22 winners all being announced. Episode #58 is for those who missed out on the fun. Congratulations to those of you who took the time to follow up on your Catch 22 entry. I encourage everyone out there to really READ what the articles have in them. I always have all the information needed for whatever the subject is.
We had some who apparently had no interest in scoring the free redeem codes. That means I have to pick 5 more winners of the Catch 22 event. So pay attention! I have 3 remaining Metal Slug and 2 remaining SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam codes. First come, first served for the 5 gamers to message me on Xbox Live wanting to win.

This week we’ll have a free Xbox Live Arcade title coming our way. Undertow is going to be free for download for five days beginning this Wednesday. I finally learned how to play Omega Five this weekend and I had a lot of fun with it. You have to play for a certain amount of time to increase the number of credits you have. One hour gets you 5 additonal credit and if you play for five hours, you get an unlimited number of credits. The dumb thing about the game though is that you can’t start from your last played level. Each time you have to start over. Meh!
Enjoy the week ahead ladies and gentlemen. Before I leave I want to give a quick shout to Irishprik and Fatal Turntable for the awesome Kingdom Under Fire co-op play this past weekend!

haha @echo
i wonder why people wouldnt claim their prize are they that lazy?? oh and about KUF i have been playing the demo and it seems alright, does it get better with the version and coop? and is the whole game just a hack and slash or are their quests?

@No Hands, it’s beyond me too. it’s a good thing though because those who were actually interested got another chance at the win.
and there are missions or searches i should say…but for the most part it’s hack n slash and leveling up.

Deacon, hope you didn’t get Undertow using a redemption code because I just got off after an hour with support and they are refusing to give me squat because I didn’t keep the message that I got on XBL with the code *2 months ago!*. They basically called me a liar, gave me a reference number and said F*** you, tough s**t!
January 23rd, 2008 at 4:06 pm
yep..i was met with the same Matt. i just hung up though as opposed to staying on the line. i didn’t feel like going through any additional explanations.

I said I wanted to talk to a supervisor because I wasn’t sure the guy I was talking to understood English very well, then “Dan” told me I was a liar, because I got the code over XBL, then I was a liar because he thought maybe I used a different account, then I was a liar because I pointed out that this is a f**ked-up loophole. He said he didn’t care but he couldn’t do anything. Such crap. I gave him and his buddy an earful constituting at least 10 minutes of my hour of phone time. I’m sure I’m on the “angry caller” list or something at this point.

Not to mention I’ve been without a 360 for a month until Monday because the “repair specialist” assigned to my case was a jerkoff.

as soon as they began to dish out the excuse i hung up lol. i mean some people got the game by way of redeem code and not points. should it matter? nope. if it does then how about dishing out another game for those people. it doesn’t have to be points.
but i’d like another Arcade title as a thank you that people are getting. i guess though we got our thanks months ago?

That’s what I explained to the guy, but the CS Reps are basically given absolutely no executive power to the point that it is debilitating. I proved to him that I had a copy of the game, but he refused to do anything.
