The new year is fast approaching. In just days we’ll be saying goodbye forever to the year that was 2007. I hope it has been a good one for everyone and one that brought many positives. I thought I’d list a few of the top moments that 2007 brought in regards to Unscripted 360.
One 1 - Xbox Live Marketplace Content
It was only a few days ago that I announced the 360 Laws Picture Pack on Xbox Live Marketplace but it’s quite easily one of the coolest moments this year has dished out for me. It was a landmark event being the first premium content available from an independent community site. I’ve seen quite a few of you sporting pics from this pack and I can’t thank you enough especially other community sites who have downloaded the pack as well.

Two 2 - The Anniversary
July 2007 marked the one-year annivesary of Unscripted 360. It came with little fanfare but it was significant still because not many independent sites/blogs/shows continue beyond a year.
Three 3 - The New Face
A little plastic surgery went a long way when the place got Nip Tucked in November. The new design, style selections and new features like the chat and Medals were an immediate hit within the community.
Four 4 - Penny Arcade Expo & Me
Beyond the fact that it was the first time hooking up with the Dangerdoll, it was truly a great experience being at PAX and sharing everything with the community from the event. I met a lot of cool people in the community for the first time. And I can’t forget about Andrew and Steven from Gaia Industries who I became good friends with. (yep that’s me getting my Dark Sector on)

Five 5 - Fifty is Nifty
I made it to the 50th episode of the show and it ended up being one of the most downloaded shows naturally. The girls of GamerchiX were in full force and made it a great show. Getting to 50 though was a pretty cool moment.
Six 6 - Community Gamercard
My buddy Morgon at MyGamercard.net helped deliver more of an experience for U360 fans by providing U360 themed Gamercards at MGC. A lot of people are utilizing MGC so it was cool for the site to get its own as well as other communities being represented. I expect you all to be using this in your sigs.
Seven 7 - A Showcase of Games
I was flown out to Electronic Arts for the EA Studio Showcase in September and it was a great time. I got a chance to see Crysis and play Burnout Paradise, The Simpsons Game, Team Fortress 2 and a few others before anyone else. Real Krusty Burgers ftw! I also got a sneak peek at how some of these “big media sites” handle themselves. Let’s just say I can understand the criticism they get because they all act like spoiled kids who each want to be the prom king.
Eight 8 - Nominations, Gamertags & Lists
It was a pretty incredible year for the site being recognized by others in the community and even the tops dawgs themselves. In July, one of the UK’s top digital magazines picked U360 as one of the best podcasts in the community. In October, I was awarded another year as an Xbox MVP for Microsoft. Last month, the site received a nomination for Blog of the Year in Gamertag Radio’s Community Awards. For some reason my Gamertag is among the top searched each month as TriXie points out. U360 made it on Xbox.com’s list of reasons to own an Xbox 360 again and when people want to know about community, they’ll see U360 in Xbox.com’s Community 101 to get to know about it.. These were all some very groovy things to me.
Nine 9 - 360 Laws Branch Out
I would’ve listed this along with a few other highlights but I figured it deserved its own slot. All of the interest in the 360 Laws was another highlight this year. Xbox.com and TriXie posted a spotlight on them and they were featured in the 360Zine emagazine.

Ten 10 - Support, Laughs & More
Perhaps the single biggest highlight this year was the continued support from all of you. It is the reason I’m able to list so many other highlights afterall. You guys and girls are really great supporters of what goes on here at U360. You all might be crazy but who doesn’t love a little bit of crazy support ya know. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate it all.
