   Im not into fighting games as much as I use to be. But Soul Caliber on Dreamcast was really good, and SC2 on xbox was fun as well. If this new one has online VS then I’m gonna check it out for sure.

   Fighting games died, for me, the moment they went 3-D. I still can’t wait for SSF2THDR (is that right? The new freakin’ street fighter, how’s that?). All of the newer Mortal Kombats and their 3d arenas, soul calibur games, DOA… I was never into any of’em. Soul Calibur 2 was the only one in the series I got into, and even that passed quickly.

   And as for these screen shots, I’m actually not as impressed as I expected I would be. Any game where you only need to render two models at a time, even at extremely high resolutions, should be able to look better than that. Here’s hoping for some updated texturing before the game is released.
