A Look Into 2008

Time waits for no one.  We’ll all be in a new year in just a matter of weeks so I wanted to take a look ahead to see which titles we should all pay close attention to.  So what do I have my eye on in 2008?  Take a look and enjoy a few of my top choices for next year.

Alan Wake - Ever since the weather sequence from X06 I’ve been waiting for more on this game.  If Remedy Entertainment can pull it off, then it’s my early pick for Untouchable of the Year.

Grand Theft Auto IV - With the latest trailer debuting yesterday, the hype and frenzy increased just a bit.  It’s Rockstar’s debut into the next generation with its popular franchise.  I’m waiting to see just what this exclusive episodic content is all about.

Ninja Gaiden 2 - Team Ninja has teased us for far too long after creating what many believe the best action title on the original Xbox.  Now it’s time to take that success and move it to the Xbox 360 with the true sequel.

Fallout 3 - Bethesda’s track record should speak for itself after delivering the most celebrated RPG on the Xbox and Xbox 360, The Elder Scrolls.  Now it’s time to see how they’ll manage another popular RPG series.

Resident Evil 5 - I’m not sure if this one has been pushed back to 2009 or not but I’ll list it for 2008 because I’m itching to play it!

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Concept

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - After watching the developer diary on Force Unleashed, I was sold.  The ultimate Sith I will be!

Burnout Paradise - It’s going to be an adrenaline filled rush hour on the streets!  I’ve played it a bit and if it’s improved since then, we’re all in for some crashin’ fun.
