Video Marketplace Arrives in Europe/Canada

All of my good friends in places beyond the United States will be pleased to know that the Video Marketplace is set to debut in your region on December 11th.  Yay for you!  A little taste of Hollywood via your Xbox 360 is finally here for the world.  The countries include the fine folks in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany and Canada.  (no word on Holland)

    I was concerned Canada wasn’t included since the only news I’ve seen on this was on the UK xbox.com site, did you get a press release stipulating the locations Deacon?

    @intangible..yep. i generally just post the meat of the release instead of just copying/pasting ya know. other people just use the UK site obviously without mentioning where they got the news of Canada or me lol :)

    Sweet! We actually get some pretty sweet pricing too, from what I’ve read:

    250 MSP = $4.00 CAD SD Movie Rental
    380 MSP = $6.08 CAD HD Movie Rental

    Now if MS would just lower the cost of Microsoft Points for Canadians to reflect our dollar we’d be all set ;)

    same here 500 points costs £4.25 which is $8.78

    I’m not ‘wowed’ by the line up of films, hopefuly they will announce some great TV series for download and I will then need to upgrade to an elite…
