Yeah grats I know yall have been waiting for this…
December 4th, 2007 at 9:24 am
Agreed Mak, this is stuff they have been begging to get for some time now, good to see them get something they wanted so badly.
December 4th, 2007 at 9:59 am
Congrats guys. I love the video marketplace, especially now that I have HD.
December 4th, 2007 at 10:39 am
I was concerned Canada wasn’t included since the only news I’ve seen on this was on the UK xbox.com site, did you get a press release stipulating the locations Deacon?
December 4th, 2007 at 10:41 am
@intangible..yep. i generally just post the meat of the release instead of just copying/pasting ya know. other people just use the UK site obviously without mentioning where they got the news of Canada or me lol
December 4th, 2007 at 10:55 am
Sweet! We actually get some pretty sweet pricing too, from what I’ve read:
250 MSP = $4.00 CAD SD Movie Rental
380 MSP = $6.08 CAD HD Movie Rental
Now if MS would just lower the cost of Microsoft Points for Canadians to reflect our dollar we’d be all set
December 4th, 2007 at 11:01 am
Yaaay! Video Marketplace for Europeans! Wooo!
December 4th, 2007 at 11:02 am
same here 500 points costs £4.25 which is $8.78
I’m not ‘wowed’ by the line up of films, hopefuly they will announce some great TV series for download and I will then need to upgrade to an elite…
December 4th, 2007 at 11:31 am
i curse all of the fools in our government, for not being able to set a standard, so i can get this stuff here in holland aswell.
*pulls out every hair on his head*
December 4th, 2007 at 12:10 pm
Yay! FINALLY!….more stuff I won’t use. *mutter*
December 4th, 2007 at 12:14 pm

December 4th, 2007 at 1:04 pm
anyways, thanks for including holland in your report deac
December 4th, 2007 at 1:15 pm
hey holland is important too
December 4th, 2007 at 2:26 pm
Now instead of complaining about not having it, y’all can commence bitching about the content and pricing. Whee!
December 4th, 2007 at 2:35 pm
Thats all the time Trixie no matter what is done on the Dashboard updates..
December 4th, 2007 at 2:57 pm
I wanting a Texas Marketplace, Texas is a Country ya now.
HAHAHA
December 4th, 2007 at 2:58 pm
i vote for Texas Marketplace lol
December 4th, 2007 at 3:00 pm
i think 1200 points is pretty reasonable though. at least for the prices here in holland. most xbox (one) games are still normal priced around 40-50 euro’s, unless you go search in the budget stores you wont find that many for that price.
December 4th, 2007 at 3:04 pm
i dont’ have 1200 points otherwise the temptation to play Crimson Skies would be too great and i’d buy it.
December 4th, 2007 at 3:41 pm
Hey, I’m allowed to complain about pricing. I never wanted it to begin with.
*complains loudly about pricing* ….*gets bored of making suff up and wanders off to bake cookies*
December 4th, 2007 at 3:47 pm
yummy…cookies
December 4th, 2007 at 3:54 pm
It’s not much of a “wow look at what we did momment” as it is a, “Ok now you can have it too” momment.
I didn’t really read up, was this due to legalities that it took so long to get setup for UK?
December 4th, 2007 at 6:04 pm
@Trixie360:
Lol, hey I played nice with the pricing but I can’t promise I will if there’s a severe lack of content and regular content updates.
December 5th, 2007 at 12:03 am
