I played this game last night for 10 minutes and it was enough to convince me that it was Play of the Week material. Creating myself in the game was enough fun to warrant such a thing. I created Deacon Shepard, an Earth-born hybrid type of guy who survived the streets to become the bad ass solider he was meant to be.
It gave me the feeling that I was in for an amazing ride and that’s what I love in a game. The opening sequence of Call of Duty 4 did the same thing. I felt a rush when I started Mass Effect last night. Be on the lookout for a review of this puppy soon. It looks like I finally have a story worth giving a damn about.

Underwater fun comes to the Xbox Live Arcade. The long anticipated Undertow is finally making its way to us all this Wednesday. Undertow features a story driven single player campaign, on and offline co-op, and multiplayer for up to 16 players over Xbox LIVE. Players battle for control of the oceans as one of three selectable races, each with four unique, upgradeable units.

Happy Monday! This week should be the most weight gaining week ever for a lot of us right? It’s Thanksgiving Day this Thursday for most of us and I plan to feed on massive amounts of turkey, pie, dressing and more turkey. The only part of it that sucks is that I only get one day off this week. However, I’ll make the most of it with a little planned party to share with you all on Friday. It should be fun.
I saw Beowulf this weekend and I thought it was pretty good. I wanted more action I suppose but in the end it was a nice film with a decent message. Don’t sleep with women who are really lizard creatures. That always gets me too so I can’t really blame those who do. Lizard women creatures are surprisingly addictive this time of year.
What’s with easy Achievements? The new Avatar game is supposedly giving up 1000 gamerscore in a mere 2 minutes. All gamerscore freaks will head out to rent this game immediately I imagine. Let’s see how many U360 peeps are sporting this game on their gamer cards soon.
Enjoy the week and look for Episode #54 soon!

Rating Guide: How I Review Games
Review:
There were lights. I had the camera and there was plenty of action at a recent Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action get together here in Dallas. What better way to review this game than to simply gather a few people for some movie trivia battles? I’ve been anticipating this game for quite some time because of what it would be for a lot of family fun.
I decided to let the party participants and their reactions tell the story of this game. Take a seat and enjoy! It’s time for the recap and review of Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action.

If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? Since you won’t have the chance to call in live to U360 today, I figured I’d give you someone else to call. You can call the Ghostbusters! Well maybe not now but you can call them in Fall 2008 with the anticipated release of Ghostbusters The Video Game.
All the regulars are back for some next-gen ghost bustin’ including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson. They’re back again for the first time in more than 20 years. Supporting the ghost busting crew are the talents of Annie Potts, Brian Doyle Murray and William Atherton. Equipped with a variety of unique weapons and gadgets, players will hunt, fight and capture a wide range of supernatural villains in a funny and frightening battle to save New York City from its latest paranormal plague.
“Sierra Entertainment is extremely excited to not only deliver fans, old and new, this next chapter in the Ghostbusters universe, but to allow them inside the universe for the first time,” said Martin Tremblay, president, Worldwide Studios for Sierra Entertainment. “Our collaboration includes working closely alongside the team at Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Terminal Reality and Red Fly Studios. Together we will create the ultimate Ghostbusters experience, full of the characters, ghosts and other paranormal creatures so many have come to adore over the years.”

The most important part of this whole announcement and the part that really has me smiling like a little Slimer is the fact that Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis will return to script an event-driven storyline for the video game. That is a big positive in my book knowing that it will be a true Ghostbusters story from the original minds of Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler.
Are you ready for more Venkman, Stantz, Egon and even the Staypuft Marshmallow Man? I ain’t afraid of no ghost!
Kick off the Call of Duty 4 Play & Win event with a bang tonight as another Unscripted Nights party is going down! It’s always a great time during an Unscripted Nights community jam on Xbox Live so don’t miss it! Many of the members in DDB will be there to show newbs like myself the ropes so if you’re a newbie don’t worry.

Remember that Amazon contest that was giving away Xbox 360’s and HD-DVD players with a Heroes theme? I entered the contest but wasn’t lucky enough to win but one of U360’s community members managed to score! I am a huge Heroes fan so I write this article extremely jealous and at the same time plotting many strategies to rob him. Okay, I’ll settle for just being extremely jealous.

Congratulations to U360’s own The RhymeScheme for owning the ultimate of gaming swagbilia. He has a brand new Heroes Xbox 360 Pro console complete with HDMI and a Heroes HD-DVD player to watch none other than the first season of Hereos on HD-DVD. He even took pictures to let us all marvel at it.
Birthdays are days to look back. They are days to reflect on previous years to see exactly what has gone on year after year after year. I know some of you are new to Xbox Live so I thought it would be fun to look back to the year it all began. I took a few pictures of the Xbox Live Beta Kit that I still have. It’s amazing that I’ve kept it this long but I figured it was the start of something beautiful. Five years later it seems I was right.
In October 2002, it began for me. I was selected to be amongst the few to beta an exciting idea from Microsoft. Xbox Live. It was a bold step to bring gamers from different cities, states and countries together. I didn’t know what to expect but I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to be among the few to experience it first. My gamertag then was Racivius Dawn. (had to think quick and I was deep into Morrowind at the time)
