I know there are plenty of you who like a little history. I came across the Xbox Live Timeline today and thought it was pretty cool. I know I gave you all a bit of a look back at the beginning of Xbox Live with my Beta Flashback but here you can enjoy all the years in between then and now.
You can check out the marquee game in each year of Xbox Live as well as check out some key events that helped shape the service. It’s interesting looking back to May 2004 when Electronic Arts finally came on board the Xbox Live service. I’m sure many of you didn’t know that they weren’t always offering online in their Xbox games. They used to be primarily a Sony machine but things have since changed.
Well take a look through the years with the Xbox Live Timeline for those history fans out there.

It’s amazing to see where it was and where it is now. It’s one of my greatest experiences in gaming…and something I couldn’t see myself with out. I only wish I would have jumped ship eariler.

Can’t believe I only just joined in April of 06. It’s hard to imagine that people didn’t think people would take to console gaming. Viva la XBOX!

After looking at that beta flashback I had some bad flashbacks about NFL Fever! My how far video game football has come as Fever was an UGLY game.

Hey deaconblade you should ask MS Studios what happened to XSN? I was part of it - sad they killed it. Why did they scrap it. I still play Links 2004.
