Play of the Week – Mass Effect
I played this game last night for 10 minutes and it was enough to convince me that it was Play of the Week material. Creating myself in the game was enough fun to warrant such a thing. I created Deacon Shepard, an Earth-born hybrid type of guy who survived the streets to become the bad ass solider he was meant to be.
It gave me the feeling that I was in for an amazing ride and that’s what I love in a game. The opening sequence of Call of Duty 4 did the same thing. I felt a rush when I started Mass Effect last night. Be on the lookout for a review of this puppy soon. It looks like I finally have a story worth giving a damn about.

game rocks, never had any doubts…I mean come on its a bio-ware rpg…dialogue system works great and really feels like you are in control of a movie plot…the fighting sequences are really good for an rpg (even a gears like cover system), and the graphics are amazing…so far I’m not disapointed in the least..I could go on…lol…

Alot of places Best buy etc have Mass Effect listed for $10 less or buy 2 get 1 free on 360 games.

My copy still has not arrived yet
But actually that is a good thing cause I am still reading the prequal story book, “Mass Effect: Revelations” and am only half way through it. It is getting pretty good. This should help enrich the story play of the game itself. I am almost halfway through it so I think I will hold off on playing ME if it arrives today until I finish the book. Besides I am playing The Darkness and Bioshock (great games, oh man really great!) Those will hold me until I finish the book, but will be itching to pop that baby in there. I’ll let you know when I start my missions on ME! Lata!
