Xbox Rewards Where Art Thou?
You all remember the Xbox Rewards story a while ago about being rewarded for Achievements that soon came true and had everyone in a frenzy don’t you? I even had a sit down in Episode #31 with Mo Lam, former Product Manager for Xbox Rewards, about the program and the plans for Xbox Rewards going forward. That was only a few months ago and I find myself asking, where art thou Xbox Rewards?

Is anyone interested in seeing this program renewed and revisited? I’m not sure if there aren’t current plans for it but as of right now, there is no news on its future. It appears to have been an overwhelming success so why the sudden loss in momentum?
How did everyone here at U360 feel about the program and did you complete the challenge? I just thought I’d bring this up as we near a celebration tomorrow. It would’ve been a great time to introduce a new challenge.

That is an excellent question me and a friend were asking the same thing just the other day. I loved the program and would definitely participate in another. FREE STUFF FTW!!!1!

I hope it comes back, but I have a feeling that ‘game saves’ made it fizzle a bit.

i do too Green. @squid, yep i read about that…that’s pretty cool. very nice of Old Spice to filter to a community like that.

but i do hope if they revisit it, it’s not just some gamerscore increase type of challenges.

Yeah I did it also I think the game saves did effect it. I think they should just go by the time you start your live account and average how high your score raises from that point..

I have a feeling this is just another dead in the water idea. I have the Xbox Diamond Card and ask why I even have it. Is it just me or is the whole community thing just not as important as it once was to the people at MS? I know Peter was the voice of that and really wanted it to be that way. Now I just think it’s being phased out or atleast a former shell of what it once was and too bad.

I try and take part in the contests and sweepstakes, so I’d be interested in seeing the program come back in some form.
