My disk was eaten by my xbox a while back. I cried but with all this new content and it’s 30 bucks now! I’m so saving my lunch money lol.

I thought with 7 comments people would have made some drastic remarks as to how this is actually free, all this time having to pay for Oblivion DLC. I thought wrong.

I have yet to play the Shivering Isles expansion (I’ve only heard great things about it) but it’s nice to see them continue to give life to Oblivion, not that it needed it.

@snorkle, most of the U360 community is well-rounded. we know how these things work so complaints are at a minimum
October 11th, 2007 at 8:52 am
@ Deac, yeah it keeps hanging on but at some point I’d like to see them turn their attentions to getting a new title out quickly.
@ Reza, SI is good but a poor value. I broke it down in the U360 forums if you’d care to have a look.

Dang, it better not be the end.

Wow, I re-read my own work there and must say that review is a masterpiece.
I challenge all reviews to be that complete and insightful.
I should go pro.
October 11th, 2007 at 9:31 am
Apparentley this is the last DLC for Oblivion.
Thanks for the review link, I think I’ll wait to see if they ever bring down the price of SI. In the meantime, too many good games out right now that need our attention.

You guys should do what I did. I bought Oblivion a while back at $55 and love it. Last week when I saw Oblivion GOTY Edition at Blockbuster I rented it and saved the extra content onto my xbox360. Now I can play it for free with my original copy of Oblivion. The DLC is on my xbox360 and I can access it anytime. Saved myself the $20 for SI and I don’t think it is stealing from them since I did pay to rent the GOTY version for $8.00 plus I already paid $55 for Oblivion, why would I pay $60 for it again???
October 11th, 2007 at 11:37 am
Thats pretty darn clever Jen!!!
I don’t think it’s stealing either, in fact most of that DLC was on the disc to start with but locked. Thats BS.
October 11th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
Blockbuster eh?…
October 11th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
i’m gonna try it too lol
October 11th, 2007 at 10:38 pm
^No kidding! I was tempted to buy some MS points and purchase what Oblivion DLC I don’t have. Her idea seems so much more logical and practical.
October 12th, 2007 at 8:28 am
Can’t wait! thanks for the heads-up Deac!
