I’ve known about this game for a few months now and everything I’ve seen has been very interesting.  I’m aware that all games sound good in the beginning and somehow fizzle out.  I just hope this one doesn’t do that because the story and visual direction of it has peaked my interest. 

Prototype is being developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment.  Here’s a little information about the game.  You are Alex Mercer, the Prototype: a shapeshifter with amazing powers of combat, destruction, and deception.  Consume targets for their form and memories to assume a perfect disguise, or instantly transform your body into an array of deadly biological weapons, cutting your way to the heart of the conspiracy forty years in the making.

It’s slated to debut in 2008 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.  Sierra sent some new screenshots of the PC version which you can check out below.
