New Zune Debuts in November
There are quite a few of you who keep emailing me to include information on the Zune from time to time so I shall comply because it just makes sense. I’ll share whatever I can come up with about the Xbox 360′s little music cousin as I like to call it. I’ve yet to get my hands on one but if I were to purchase one now, then I’m really glad to see new options coming this November.
The new flavors of the Zune come in 3 distinct models including a sleek, black Zune 80GB hard-drive model ERP $249.99; the ultraportable Zune 4GB ERP $149.99; and a Zune 8GB ERP $199.99 flash model, both available in pink, green, black and glossy red. A cool addition to the Zune if you can make it out in the image below is the inlcusion of podcast support. I’m sure that’ll make you U360 Zune heads happy!
Find out more about the new Zune at Zune.net. I don’t have an mp3 player so I’m on the road to deciding. Zune or iPod, that’s what I need to figure out. I love the design of the Zune much better and that’s usually a key for me. Stay tuned for more Zuneocity in the future.

I’ve never owned an mp3 player (Crazy I know) and I would have loved to have been able to pick up the Halo 3 Zune, but sadly just like these it’s still US only.
If Microsoft doesn’t deliver on it’s promise to have a video marketplace for us by the end of this year … :@

can you purchase one in the US and just have it delivered? or is it the fact that there’s no Zune Marketplace in Canada either? that’s pretty stupid. you guys have iPod right?

I have a Zen Vision M right now and have been really happy with it, but I will be upgrading to the 80 gig Zune. My brother-in-law has a Zune and I really like it’s features, screen and UI. These newer models just made my decision that much easier. Auto sync wi-fi?…I’m in.

yeah the design of it is something i really like as well caleb. the UI is pretty slick.

It was really well done and easy to navigate thru, menu changes look sick, great picture, wi-fi from Zune to Zune is something that impressed me and now they stream lined it…and took my money.

Yes, we most definitely have Ipods in fact it seems like everyone does, we have all the major mp3 players, just not Microsoft’s Zune.

What excites me is the firmware upgrade for those of us that have v.1. I understand it’s going to support all the new features and codecs.
