These are pages taken from the diary of DeaconBlade during the last Unscripted Nights event.  These are actual events taken place in battles on various lands.  Many would fight in these wars that came to be known as the 7 Second Wars.  I give you the first chronicle from those wars.

7 Second Wars, Chapter 1

There I was in the face of danger.  I stared directly in death’s eyes and did not blink.  I was equipped only with a battle rifle.  I stood no chance against it.  The odds were against me as it revved its engine and headed straight for me.  I stood there facing a massive Warthog being driven by a Crazzy Spartan hell bent on my destruction.  He might have succeeded had I not noticed at the last second, a pile of spike grenades only a few feet in front of me.

I rushed with no fear and a spike grenade in hand

I had no time to think so I grabbed a few spike grenades and charged into the fight.  I was going to finish it one way or the other.  As soon as the Warthog got close enough I launched the spike grenade and stuck it directly on the windshield.

Spartan Jump enabled

Right at that second my instincts from the previous Valhalla Battles took over and I did an amazing Spartan Jump completely over the Warthog.  I could see the driver in a state of panic and confusion as I effortlessly glided above him.  It was a second of peace for me seeing him unable to defend my Spartan Jump. 

Flames and an explosion as I watched my enemy fall

I landed in time to see flames and an explosion.  What was once an unstoppable force was now shattered glass and pieces of broken metal.  Victory was mine no matter how short lived it would be.   

My name engraved after a heated battle

As with all battles in the 7 Second Wars, my name was engraved near those who had fallen at my hands.  It was a painful reminder they carried to their grave so they knew who had gotten the better of them.

Victory was mine if only for 7 seconds

In 7 seconds I’d have to battle all over again.  These are the stories of the Seven Second Wars made possible by Halo 3’s amazing new Theater feature.
