Free Fix for Halo 3 LE Disc Scratch Issue

Microsoft has reacted quickly to the news of potential disc scratches on the Halo 3 Limited Edition version of the game.  Gamers who receive a scratched disc in the Limited Edition of the game will be able to get their game replaced for free until 2/1/08.

    i still haven’t received my copy, but i did pre-order a Limited Edition.
    good to know that IF its scratched i can get a new one.

    Got home from the midnight launch last night to find out the disc was loose inside the case and scratched beyond belief. It won’t even play for me.

    I’m a VIP at my local game store, so they let me search through the ones they had left until I found one without scratches. Actually the Essentials disc has a few minor surface scratches, but it works perfectly.
