NFL Tour – You Choose Cover Athlete
During the EA Studio Showcase, a clip was played of Miami Dolphins’ Jason Taylor campaigning to be the cover athlete for NFL Tour. Nothing was revealed about the game beyond the fact that EA is going about its cover athlete much different than their other sports title. They’ve actually asked the NFL players to campaign for the cover. Hey I’m all for making ‘em work for it as it’s all in good fun.
Well, they’re also doing something new for EA fans out there. They’re allowing you to vote on who you want on the cover of NFL Tour. Currently, there campaigns for Jason Taylor, Dwight Freeney (Indianapolis Colts), and Shawne Merriman (San Diego Chargers). You can choose which player’s campaign you want to vote for as well as access some “candidate kits” to support your favorite candidate.
Just head over to the official site for NFL Tour’s Decision 08 campaign to cast your vote. You can view each candidate’s campaign ad as well as hear their stance on heated campaign issues such as their planned pose for the cover and their style of defense. The site is hilarious and very well done. I’m going Lights Out baby!

I havent gotten it either. I sent Andrew a msg but he hasnt answered me. I spoke to Jon yesterday and I’ll be going.
That TO/Camera bit was set up by him and Dan Lebatard during his weekly radio show. The listeners came up with the idea and he liked it. Unfortunately he got fined $7500, but Lebatard is going to pay it for him.
