MMS – Heroes Returns

This is probably the best Monday ever because it’s the last Monday I’ll have to endure before Heroes returns with its second season! September 24 will be a day filled with Halo 3 fun in the afternoon and Heroes Season 2 debut watching in the late night. What happens to Peter and Nathan Petrelli? Who are the new Heroes? Will Hiro time travel out of the past?

Heroes

I plan on making the rounds this morning to look up all the Gamercards of those who bet me in the Gamerpic NFL Wars. All of you Miami Dolphins fans should be sporting a fresh, new Dallas Cowboys gamerpic today after the 37 – 20 loss. Up next are the fiesty Chicago Bears and that defense. I’m recording episode #47 tonight and if you want to be on the show, email me and I’ll try to get you on. I’ll talk about the Gamer 2 Gamer effort in more detail and a few other things. I may touch on what to expect at the Tokyo Game Show this week especially after seeing the Ninja Gaiden 2 gameplay video. I’ll also be mentioning a pretty cool show I just found out about from a new friend that I think you guys and girls will enjoy.

Im ready for this new season of Heroes I have been watching the reruns and there awesome. And im always down for being on a show Im ready for the return this weekend!

haha i knew he wouldn’t aqua. he’s the best character on the show next to Hiro. why would they even dream of killing him off.

It appeared to me that he blew up at the end of last season. (by blow up I don’t mean explode into lots of little pieces, I mean him releasing tons of radiation or whatever it is that was Ted’s power). I never said they would kill him off He could lose control and release all of that radiation and still live. I do agree it would be a horrible idea to kill him off!

You have me confused though Deac when you say he didn’t blow up! Ahhh!

oh yeah well he blew up for sure. but i would’ve been TICKED had they wrote off his character. but seeing the previews of season 2, i’m happy. Peter FTW!

Yeah, I’m glad to see him back in the previews also.
I am going through and watching Season 1 again (trying to finish before next Monday!)

Thumpthis : Dont support it but if it saves me from happening to buy another game with added content i would rather do that

Thumpthis : Battlefield Bad company 2 is really smart giving you 2 free maps the same day the MW 2 map packs drop
Mikewarrior : Yes Thump, but you are not getting it... That other DL content added to the game, but how does anyone know that it wasn't originally planned to be on the game disc, & then held back to be used as DLC for more cash?
Thumpthis : Spec Ops mode would have been greatly appreciated
Thumpthis : Im a MW 2 fan but 1200 is total BS
Thumpthis : Ok I agree there the horse armor should have been in the game but the other DLC addedd more to the game, but Map packs would have been a great deal for 800 with a few spec ops mission added
Mikewarrior : It would be good if that content got thought up AFTER the game went GOLD. Not purposely held out to charge me later = I either get less game than what was planned, or they screw m,e out of more money... So tell me, what is there to be happy about?
Thumpthis : Yes Mike it would but there still the fact like DLC will sell would you but Alien vs Predator DLC if it came out if it added more to the story
Mikewarrior : It can only get worse Thump as people learn to accept it... You think that's wise?
Mikewarrior : Because I got LESS than what was planned... If you buy a car & before you do they then decide to lock out the radio, then ask you for more money... Would that not bother you?

Mikewarrior : I have two.. Buy or don't buy, but they Held back Horse Armor to charge later, so i got less than what was planned in the game because they wanted to see if they could screw gamers out of more money... You like that, even defend it?
Thumpthis : I didnt buy any of the DLC but it was there though
Thumpthis : So you played Oblivion a great game without the DLC they gave you choices
Mikewarrior : Thump... Buy if you want doesn't work. If the content is held back, i get less than unless I'm willing to waste more money.

Mikewarrior : Thump... If there was some sort of system in place to oversee the Developers content & can show us tht the content was thought of AFTER the game went OLD, I wouldn't have a problem... But until then, I don't trust!
Viper86 : DLC is fine as long as it adds several hours to the campaign for a reasonable price. I think MP maps and such should be free.
