Not like it already hasn’t. We got retail copies of Halo 3 flying all over Halo 3 and who knows where else. They shouldn’t have shipped or manufactured any copies of the game out of USA and Canada until after it was out there, cause they CONSTANTLY leak games over in the PAL territory, it gets old.

Free for everyone, even people who don’t have or care about Halo 3? I can’t find any official announcement links anywhere. All the stuff on Best Buy’s site talks about it in relation to Halo 3. And, my account doesn’t seem to be behaving like a gold one right now. So what exactly is the deal here?

    DeaconBlade Says:

it’s free to everyone. Xbox Live is free for 3 days…not Halo Xbox Live lol so yeah…it’s free for everyone. Live might just be experiencing issues.

I guess it must be. I go to my profile page on the web, and I’m still not shown as gold. I try to send a message to someone on my friend list (via the web), and it says that a gold account is required for that feature.

Either the promotion is not active yet, it’s not *really* full access to XBL Gold for 3 days, or they’re experiencing issues. Because my account is clearly not acting like it’s Gold yet, not as far as the xbox.com web site can determine.

they’re experiencing issues throughout. i’ve had a few people message me about it.
