EA Sports GAMESLINGER

The EA Sports GAMESLINGER event kicked off in Dallas yesterday and I was there.  It was an event that gave fans some play time with a few of EA’s sports titles.  There was competition, crazy DJs and some screens you’d simply die to play on.  I mean that.  There were four gigantic screens on each side of the venue showcasing the action for all to see.  I wanted to play on the screens very badly.  You really had to be there to witness it.  I have something up my sleeves for all those who have been itching for that mystery event of mine.

Fans came out and helped make it an incredible event.  I do have one gripe though about the event or rather about EA.  Fight Night Round 3 is still being played.  Come on and give us some Round 4 already!  I’ll have to dig up some news on that.  Other than the outdated FNR 3, all of the 2008 sports titles were being played; Madden NFL 08, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, NCAA 08 and Nascar 08.

    Would’ve loved to attend and play [NCAA 08 and FN: R3] @ the event. Just too bad it had to fall on a Saturday filled w/ great college football games. Thanks for the coverage though, DB and MiyamotoMusashi-san. I’m definitely diggin’ those MASSIVE screens @ Victory Park! :)

    I had mentioned to Jason that I want to see more events like this in Dallas. Deacon was quick to get his card so who knows. Maybe we will see an Unscripted 360 event in the near or distant future?

    It’s been an EA weekend for everyone it seems. I spent 15 hours playing Airborne so far this weekend.

    Nice footage Deacon. I would have came down to enjoy the event but I was doing some gaming myself on Madden. I couldn’t pry myself off the couch :)
