The Simpsons Game
Studio: EA Redwood Shores

First, I want to say that Scot Amos is the perfect Simpson. He’s the executive producer of The Simpsons Game and he had his Simpsons likeness displayed for all to see at the briefing.
Moving on…I’ve always been a fan of Homer, Bart and the rest of the Simpsons club but I can say that I’ve never quite liked any of the Simpsons themed video games. They had a Simpsons Lounge set up to showcase some of the cool things in this game. Medal of Homer and Sitar Hero are among the game spoofs you’ll have the chance to play through.
The lounge was decked out with “real” Krusty Burgers that gave the lounge a very authentic feel. They were tasty as well. There were even real life Marge Simpson clones running around.
You’ll have a variety of weapons and upgrades at your disposal for each of the “spoofs” in the game. You can also join in at any given time with a friend while they’re enjoying the game alone. One cool thing I found out in talking to Scot about the game was the fact that these “spoofs” are closely developed after their real-game counterparts. This means you’ll see some pretty cool similarities throughout albeit in a Simpsons kind of way.

It looks like you had fun, Deac. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to attend (San Fran. is my old stomping grounds too - I miss it!)
