U360′s Best of PAX

Turok

I didn’t even know it was going to be at the show but I was happy that it was.  John from Propaganda gave me a pretty detailed look inside what Turok for next-gen will be.  After the explanation and a brief demonstration of the controls, I was in the game.  The sequence you go through when killing a dinosaur with your knife never got dull.  I did it about 25 times and enjoyed every single one.

The weapons in the game are pretty powerful and you still have your trusted bow & arrow.  Visually the game was pretty impressive.  The jungle, the animations…everything shined which was a positive sign for the final retail build being that it was only a demo.

Not much detail could be given about the story and multiplayer aspect of the game but I’m expecting good things.  I’ve been a long time Turok fan and I’m excited about having a next-gen offering that has a chance to put the franchise back on the map.

Pay it forward!

@Fizzy, both looked really good…especially Assassin’s Creed but the key to this particular Best of PAX is that these games were “playable”. ;)

I know I need some other way of saying it…But, great stuff Deac. Now I’m just wondering what titles are planned for next year because there’s almost too many A+ titles(only too many when there is nothing left in your wallet after the first few)

@DB, I see. =/ But, I’m definitely picking up AC this holiday! :D

@Jokar; GTA IV, Lost Odyssey, Splinter Cell: ConViction, and The Last Remnant are some that I’m salivating over for 2008. :)
