I won’t pretend to know what this game is all about but thankfully there are things in the world like the Xbox Live Marketplace. I’ll finally be able to see what all the fuss is as a demo for Namco Bandai’s Beautiful Katamari arrives! I’ve also included a video of the intro to Beautiful Katamari so you can get a glimpse of the game.
Beautiful Katamari is set to release this Fall for the Xbox 360 with more new features than you can roll onto a single Katamari. Joining the party are a bunch of new cousins with their own unique animations and personalities, as well all-new levels to explore and new items to roll up. For the first time ever, the series also heads online, where up to four players around the globe can compete against each other in frantic multiplayer matches. Offline, players can still compete with each other or put aside grudges and work together, rolling one gigantic Katamari in Co-Op mode.

I checked out the demo on last months OXM and it was pretty good. I might get this one. It depends on the price.

Jigsaw, it’s going to be $40 (US anyway…), at least according to IGN.

I love me some Katarmari. I have all the previous games and I’m definitely going to purchase this one.

Just played the demo and its the same crazy katamari I played back on the ps2 :D, which was alot of fun. Glad to see they’re keeping the zany music and cheap price intact as well.

Basically the katamari is used to make new stars, planets, galaxies, etc. And you’re the “prince of the cosmos” and you need to use these katamaris to accomplish tasks given to you by the “king of the cosmos” your father.
