BioShock Demo Arrives
On the heels of the BioShock launch trailer’s premiere on Spike TV, the BioShock demo arrives for Xbox 360 owners. It’s a hefty demo at a little more than a gig so it should be some quality fun. I’m ready for this demo and this game! I’ve written enough…download this now and let me know what you think.

I got in on the download game late, and I’m paying the price. F.E.A.R. can keep me occupied all night long though…I love that game so much.

Right off the get go, I thought I was still in a cut-scene, when I was really playing the game. Everything, from the water to the flames arising from the sea, looked so realistic. I can’t see how anyone can be dissappointed when a game looks so great, the AI responds properly and you can do whatever your heart desires. A++
GOTY material

DLed it overnight and played about 10 to 15 minutes this morning. All I can say is……………WOW! This game is off the hook. As someone else posted above, you think you are still in a cut scene and you move the thumbstick forward to be sure and surprise…this is the game!
I will definitely be playing more of this tonight and I will be buying this game on day one!!

I thought it was alright, graphics we’re pretty good and gameplay was ok as well (whenever you get to play). Most of what I played was all just a ton of cut scenes, the whole thing seemed like one big movie and you get to play in the actiony parts of it. I may rent it, but not gonna buy it.

I let it download over night, but haven’t been able to try it out this morning. I’m really looking forward to playing this tonight.

I saw a commercial for this on Comedy Central last night ( I was watching Flavor Flav get roasted). The graphics look great but I’m confused about the storyline if there is one. I’ll try the demo first though.

The basic storyline is that you were in a plane crash in 1960 and do so in the ocean. Just when you think you are screwed you see a light house that you can swim to. You find a bathosphere in the lighthouse and take it down to what turns out to be a utopia of sorts gone wrong, Rapture. Inside you find genetically enhanced folks and other odd balls that are hell bent on killing you and you realize you are still screwed.
Knowing Irrational and their past titles, the story will be great and they will have some twists and turns in store for us.

great sum up Hudson..I loved the demo…it looks gorgeous and the gameplay is tight…alot of the little things are done great as well, like how you can actually play the game as you “listen” to diaries (most titles would make you go to a pause screen)….I can’t wait to get my hands on this..

Awesome. I just placed my preorder for Bioshock. It will definitely become the award-winning FPS this year.

Too much horror and gore for me… WOW, this game looked great, but I can’t see playing this for extensive hours on end. Just not my type of thing, but visually it was awesome.
