World Cyber Games 2007 in Dallas
I’ll be at the World Cyber Games 2007 Southern Regional Final event here in Dallas this weekend doing what I do. Lady J will be tagging along as well so we can double up and bring a lot of cool videos and images of the event. The World Cyber Games is the only single e-sports event organizing competition from six continents and is the world’s largest computer and video game festival.
For those of you who don’t know, TriXie just finished covering the WCG Asian Championship 2007 event in Singapore. Now the event swings by Deacon’s stomping ground so naturally I had to show my face. Competition in the WCG wages across several Xbox 360 games including Gears of War, Dead or Alive 4, and Project Gotham Racing 3. They’re trying to make their way to the 2007 Grand Final being played in Seattle.

When TriXie was contemplating about making the Dallas event or not [and mentioned about it], I was planning on going. But as I looked at the dates [for the event], they’re during my vacation (which got prolonged for another week…yeah, I know…just my luck, huh? ;)). Anyways, you and Lady J have fun, DB. I’m expectin’ full coverage (i.e., audios, vids, pics, Q&A), by tha’ time I get back to DFW.
