Grand Theft Auto IV Delayed 2008
I’m sure many of you were anticipating the next-generation entry of Grand Theft Auto this October but unfortunately you’ll have to wait a tad bit longer.
Citing “additional development time needed” Take-Two Interactive announced the delay of the GTA IV for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. If that’s not proof enough for you all, take a look at the Xbox.com listing of Grand Theft Auto IV and you’ll notice the original October release has been changed to 2008.
And now the real guessing begins as to when in 2008 will we get to blow some **** up with Grand Theft Auto IV? And what exactly caused this “additional development time”?

Hmmm, a delay can only improve the game more though. So I stand by it
Plus theres just waaaaay too many other games coming out, so it would be nice to knock some of these out before entering Rock Stars Behemoth!

I’ll be too busy with Halo3 and COD4 to even care about this for 6 months or so.

Word from 1UP is that it comes out in Spring of ‘08. Not sure if thats true though.

good thing i’m not into the series that much

I am not really into GTA but this is bad news for a lot of people. There are so many good games coming out this year though……this will give us something to look forward to

Huge disappointment.
GTA IV was one of my most anticipated games of the year.

Along w/ SC: ConViction, at least I have 2 games to look forward to [for sure] in 2008. Oh! And Lost Odyssey!
P.S. - Another $60 I don’t have to spend [for the holidays], because this holiday season is “jam-packed” w/ triple-A titles.

Yeah! Do you know what this means!?! This means that Microsoft actually showed a game during their E3 presentation that wasn’t coming out at the end of the year! …..well, besides “Resident Evil 5″.
Go MS!….showing us new titles for the future.
However, on the downside….Peter’s ‘pure gaming moment’ of having a Halo, Madden, and GTA game this holiday season won’t happen now.
sniff sniff…..
…but as a gamer, I’m happy…prefer to have them spend the necessary time on it to make it a better game while I play all the other titles this holiday season.
