More holes, more fun, more minigolf mania! Sierra Online has released 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures: Lost Island Expansion, the first expansion for its top Xbox Live Arcade game 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures. Lost Island Expansion features 18 additional holes set in a tropical Lost Island paradise. Players will have to master several obstacles to make it through the course including hitting the ball into a giant clam to score a hole-in-one and swinging past an anaconda to avoid its venomous snap trap.

Get a hold of Stranglehold soon in the Xbox Live Marketplace. A demo for Midway Games’ Stranglehold is slated to appear on August 8th for download. Stranglehold allows players to experience exhilarating 3rd person next-gen action as you continue the story of John Woo’s influential action film Hard Boiled starring Chow Yun Fat.
I’m excited about trying this demo because the Max Payne-like sequences look incredible. I’m also a John Woo fan. You can check out a behind-the-scenes video of Stranglehold here on U360.

We’re approaching that day. September 25. The Master Chief returns to put an end to a battle he has fought for years. Will you be controlling the Master Chief? That is the question. If it’s up to the fine folks at Xbox.com, you surely will as they unleash a new Halo 3 For 3 Sweepstakes.
Fans will have 3 opportunities to win a variety of prizes including the Legendary Edition of Halo 3, Live subscriptions and Microsoft Points. All you have to do is register during each period to win. K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) It doesn’t get any easier than that as my Marine Corps days taught me.
Registration has already begun. Click here for the official 3 For 3 Sweepstakes and rules. Why is it that I’m never quite able to win any of these things? Oh well, I’m going to continue to sign up. I will have my day at the winner’s table!
THIS IS SPARTA ELITE! If you were fighting for a reason to justify entering the realm of geek by attending Comic-Con 2007 in San Diego, then you can thank Deacon for giving you that reason.
It must be the year of the “themed 360″ as 300 fans who are attending Comic-con this year are in for two special treats. Warner Bros. will be hosting a special screening of the movie at Petco field for 6,000 conference attendees, all of whom will be entered to win one of ten (10) custom limited edition 300-themed Xbox 360 Elite consoles! Move over Homer and Master Chief because the men of Sparta are gracing the sides of the Xbox 360.

I really want to get my hands on one of these. Damn u Warner Bros. and Microsoft for limiting this to Comic-Con!
So you thought that E3 was the last of having events delivered to your consoles did ya? Shame on you for expecting Microsoft to let up on its Xbox Live Marketplace machine. San Diego’s Comic Con International will be treated to the same Bringing It Home campaign as we all experienced with E3 this year.
Beginning Thursday, July 26, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download a host of new themes, trailers and other goodies from Comic-Con. There’s mention of a 300 theme that I’m already making preparations to download. This is Sparta!

I’m really interested in more news about The Sarah Connor Chronicles as well as Superman Doomsday. Comic-Con International 2007 is the largest comic book and pop culture convention in the world, with over 120,000 attendees. Celebrating the best in comics, science fiction, fantasy, horror and pop culture, the convention features sneak previews from every major movie studio and network of their best TV shows, DVDs and movies.

You want demos? You can’t handle the demos! The Xbox Live Marketplace serves up two fresh demos for Xbox 360 owners around the world.
2K Sports’ All-Pro Football 2K8 comes in at the 50-yard line.
EA Sports’ NASCAR 08 takes the inside lane.
Both of these are up and ready for download. Don’t look at me. I can’t download them for ya.
Let’s get ready to rummmmmble! Most of you should already know what I’m about to say as I spoke a bit about this in Episode #44. EA is preparing the ultimate community battle with the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade title, Wing Commander Arena. Sixteen (16) community sites, blogs and podcasters will be battling it out for some fantastic prizes to be given to each of their respective communities. I’ve seen 1080p TVs, thousands of Microsoft Points, and Xbox 360 Elites among other things lined up. I plan to bring the pain to secure the win for the U360 crowd!

I’m up against some heavy hitters who play a lot more than I do so the odds are stacked against me. I’ll need the support of the community on this one. Post about it and gather up some support for U360 as I head to battle July 30th on behalf of all the U360 and Xbox 360 fans. Yep, I’m doing it for the people. Fifteen (15) people must go down in order for me to win the grand prize. I have the eye of the tiger. I’m ready.
Wing Commander Arena will be available Wednesday, July 25th for 800 Microsoft Points. I know the guys at Gaia Industries are excited about the release. They appeared on a live show with Unscripted 360 a little while ago to talk about their Xbox Live Arcade titles.

A few of the teams and players stopped by to mix it up with me for a little camera time during the MLG event. The event was loud so some of the audio was in and out. I had a lot of fun at the event and you’ll be able to hear how much fun everyone else was having as well. For 3 days players fought for respect and their position amongst the best professional gamers. I tried to capture as much footage and hunt down as many players as I could.
I wanted to send thanks to Sundance DiGiovanni, PMS Tart, vVv Vision, Victory Lap, ZH Virago, Blaze IBM and all of the others who stopped by to kick it with U360! I have one of the videos attached to this article and I’ll link to the other footage I have. Be sure to check out MLG Pro to see how things end up!
