All-Pro Football 2K8 Reelmaker
Ok. I’m sure you remember the NBA 2K7 Reelmaker right? Well Major Nelson brings word that you can now download the APF 2K8 Reelmaker. What’s the difference? One is NBA and the other is APF duh! Some of you may not catch the witty humor but for those of you who catch it, you’ll understand the disappointment of many.
Same tool, different game…same price. The same reasons I love the Live Marketplace on Xbox 360 are the same reasons I often hate it. Is it really necessary to charge for a replay editor regardless of the type of effects? You make the call. It’ll cost you 400 Microsoft Points to download and utilize.

So is this reelmaker basically like Halo3’s movie maker then? Couldnt this have easily been included with the game lol. Friggin 2k and their evil $ making ways.

Microsoft was nice enough to give me 12000 points back for my messed up arcade games. I wish I could use my 360 to send points to people as a gift since I’m BALLIN!
O and I think it’s unfair to charge people for something that they could have easily put in the game. Maybe next year they could charge 400 points for the save feature.

I think for 400 ms points this is fine. Themes are 150 ms points. And they kind of have to charge after making the NBA guys pay. MAybe next year they will include it.

total ripp off? Who needs a reel maker? It was in the 2K games with xbox at $20 a game and I never used the feature then so I dont need it now!

I’ll nit being buying the reelmaker. Even if it was in the game I;d probably not be using it.

The whole thing inspired (angered) me enough to write up a rant. “All Pro Football 2K8 - Do NOT Buy This Game - RIP OFF!” @ http://www.xbox360rally.com/all-pro-football-2k8-do-not-buy-this-game-rip-off/ I would have no problems copying and pasting it in this little box, but I let off quite a bit of steam.
Long and short of it is, don’t support this crap. It is a 108kb file, which means it isn’t a full ReelMaker program or something, it is a code that unlocks the file that is already included on everyones disc. It is sad
