E3 2007: New Colors for Wireless Controllers
It looks like the Xbox 360 is going a bit festive with its color arrangement later in the year. The Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers will be available in new colors. Gamers can express their identity with new pink, dark blue and light blue Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers. These new colors will be available in October. ERP $49.99 (U.S.).
Also, the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console features an authentic Spartan green/gold finish and comes with matching Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, 20GB Hard Drive, Headset, Play & Charge Kit, HDMI port and exclusive “Halo 3″ Gamer Pics and Theme available via Xbox LIVE download. Available in September.

Thanks for the info, Deac. I used to love having my friends come over when we would play a certain console and everyone would have their own color of controller.

I like that there will be more colors for the controllers as well. I like to be able to tell them apart. Currently I use some skins from decalgirl.com (which works fine) but more options are always welcome.

i’m all for the different colors if they stop putting that dull grey strip on the bottom. i’d much rather the metallic looking launch controller stip.

The G4 coverage with constant cuts to commercial really pissed me off. I completely missed the new controllers portion. We all knew the “Halo” themed 360 was coming, but I’m surprised that it is a 20GB harddrive instead of a 120GB one.

they didn’t demo the new colors or announce at the conference Green so you didn’t miss it.

they didn’t announce the controllers. and yeah the commercials were a drag but i had a live feed going from G4.
