Microsoft Extends Warranty on Xbox 360
Three Red Rings of Death. Those words strike fear in plenty of your hearts. I’m sure many of you have had issues with your Xbox 360 that resulted in the 3 rings of death. Today Microsoft’s Peter Moore sent an open letter to all Xbox 360 owners announcing a new three (3) year warranty for consoles that have experienced these issues.
“If a customer has an issue indicated by the three flashing red lights, Microsoft will repair the console free of charge — including shipping — for three years from the console’s purchase date. We will also retroactively reimburse any of you who paid for repairs related to problems indicated by this error message in the past.”

you get a refund if you’ve paid for repair..not if you’ve paid for a warranty lol
