The boys over at Gamespot have a very interesting video up covering some key features from 2K Sports’ All-Pro Football 2K8. Jeff Thomas, VP of Sports Technology at Visual Concepts, sits down to discuss the customization, gameplay and other things fans can expect from APF 2K8.

I’ve stood firm on the fact that the fruity uniforms will be a nice sized obstacle for me to get over but what about you? I have no doubts about the gameplay we can expect from this title but how much fun is it going to be playing with players that are well beyond their football years? I’d much prefer to pull off a Tony Romo touchdown pass to Terrell Owens than a screen pass from Joe Montana to Barry Sanders.
I’m happy to see 2K Sports making a return to the gridiron but I would’ve much preferred a “proper” return that included an NFL license and some ESPN presentation.
What say you? Are you ready for some football albeit the non-NFL variety?

nope Bo Jackson isn’t in it. and i don’t know if the cart comes out. i would imagine it did if a player is injured.

According to info released at E3 by a 2K rep during a demo, the Xbox Live demo will not be released “for a couple of weeks” according to this guy who was a 2K VP. So looks like the game will be out before the demo. This might be the way they are doing things now, because the demo for The BIGS just hit Xbox Live this morning.
