I love Mitchel for his straight-down honesty regarding the biased reviews of questionable Internet editors.

FASA did do a great job with having created a MP shooter of unknown depth. However, FASA doesn't determine any price policy; this is Microsoft's soccer field. I think that my $60 are very well spent with Shadowrun, which motivates me to even further online battles in the odd world of Shadowrun. I'm looking forward to more contents, and, of course, some bug-fixing.

The reason Shadowrun is getting blasted is a two part reason. Deacon covered both parts to a point. This was the flagship game for the new Vista "Live" it should have been pushed back and had some sort of single player angle other than the training sessions. This being said, Yes SR is fun to play however, at E3 last year we heard all about the plans for Forza 2 the chance to send a car to a freind and allow them to get it on their cell phone to tune or tweak and other very cool options.

These have yet to be released in the game and while comparing the two titles is absurd. The real fact is the pressure to bring it out. The reviews have been a bit harsh and comments even harsher on forums and blogs. If they offer free "DLC" it may change some minds but I have to be honest the game at best is a 39.99 title as it is now. I have not posted a review for the game yet myself. I never like to bash any game just for the sake of venting. I do think there had to be a break down and what gamers got was a watered down title. Fun to play but leaves players wanting more and not in the good way.

"DLC" could help the game out in a big way and I hope they go this route. I really am having a hard time telling anyone to spend the 59.99 for this one as it is.

This game is Counterstrike for xbox360, that is why reviewers blasted it. $60 for CS on xbox360 is a ripp off!

Thanks for proving my point that it's an awesome game!

I seriously think, though, that since it's multiplayer only they might be well served to either lower the price of the game, make all the downloadable content free, or both.

That'll both get a lot of attention from the gamers, a lot of reviews edited (and subsequently raised due to better perceived value), and a lot of pleased gamers eager to see what they come up with next...

I love it...reviews never really swayed my purchasing decisions anyway...my opinion counts the most, and this is quite possibly the best multi player on the 360...

The game is great, so many people have gone out and played it to be shocked. One guy in our forum wasn't interested based on the review scores he had seen but then played the game and loved it. At MyGEN it got a 9.......

I can't find a substantial point that I disagree on. I think that what the FASA developer did was not thought out. At least, the outcome from his whining, as some have put it, shines a bad light on FASA.
