Ask-A-Dev: Blue Orb’s Texter

Welcome to the first “Ask-A-Dev.”

Ask-A-Dev is just like the normal interviews you’d see with developers, but its main focus is the fact that the questions asked will be either directly based on your questions or the questions themselves. The first use of the Ask-A-Dev feature will be for Blue Orb and their “Texter” for the Xbox 360 and PS2, so I expect the best questions to come from Phantasy Star Universe players.

Blue Orb's Texter

I’ll be visiting the offices of Blue Orb this Friday to talk to the dev team behind it and I’d like any questions you’d like to ask them!

So if you have anything you’d like to ask, now’s the time! Thanks in advance!

As for me, I'm a gamer through and through. I've been following and playing games since I was a kid and have matured along with them. Nothing makes my day like a good game and people to play it with. Don't be afraid to say "Hi!" if you see me!

this is crap it will be to hard to adapt to. i mean once the keyboards come out it will be ousted and the keyboard will be the txter of choice.

Well, you gotta buy the keyboard, as extra peripherial device, which might be expensive. It would be interesting to know if the Dev’s are aware of the impact of their software product, which, if it works well, might take away the controller add-on keyboard hype off the 360 users, ruining Microsoft another deal.

Problem is from what we know so far and unless DJ found out something else. Their version will only work with a USB controller. I think this will be the downfall of their version. If I want to use something that needs a USB connection I’ll just use a Keyboard until MS brings out something that works with the wireless controller.
