I’ll be the first to say that I’m not jealous of this exclusive content being given to Canadian Xbox 360 gamers. Ok I lied. To celebrate Canada’s 140th birthday, Canada gamers can download a FREE 360 Prophecy and Canada Day theme/gamerpic set. The theme and picture pack are hot which is why I’m jealous. But it’s great for what is now the second largest audience here at Unscripted 360! I want to send my thanks to the listeners and readers up north. You guys and gals finally surpassed the UK audience. *smirk*

You can check out the celebration and get more information on the free gift here. Don’t waste time downloading these because they’re only available for a limited time. Thanks for the tip CanadianZero.
Rocking out on some Guitar Hero II is fun. Rocking out on some Guitar Hero II and then looking at beautiful women is even more fun isn’t it? I thought so. The Konsole Kingz brings their latest to the Xbox Live Marketplace with the Guitar Queenz Theme and Picture Pack. Two ladies. Two guitars. Rock it! I was also lucky enough to grab some behind-the-scenes pics on the making of this particular set. A few of the gamerpics look really good. I’m sporting one as mine right now. This is probably the best from the Kingz to date.

RPG fans rejoice. Namco Bandai continues to share the love with a new trailer for Eternal Sonata, the highly anticipated Xbox 360 role-playing game. The trailer highlights the game’s unique action/RPG combat system, and introduces gamers to a world where the visuals are as vibrant and detailed as the moving storyline, told through one of the most eclectic and courageous casts of characters to grace the Xbox 360.

Trailer: Click here for Eternal Sonata
Developed by Japan-based Tri-Crescendo, Eternal Sonata follows the adventures of famed composer Frederic Chopin as he travels through his own dream world filled with colorful characters and stunning locales. In a land where music influences both combat and exploration, Chopin sets out on a journey not only of self-discovery, but also one of redemption.
Also of note, I’m trying out a few different video uploading services. This is Veoh and the quality is much better than YouTube and SoapBox so you may see this from time to time. Here’s my Veoh Channel to keep track of the videos/trailers I post.
It seems we all just can’t get enough of this thing called blogging. My friends at Bethesda have joined the mix with their own Bethesda Blog to give fans a more informal and personal level of interaction. You’ve heard of a few games Bethesda is behind haven’t you? Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Fallout 3. I know you’re all excited to have another way to follow those games as well as the others in their stable.
So I wanted to give an Unscripted 360 welcome to the Bethesda team! I look forward to reading some cool inside tidbits. Have fun Pete!
Are you ready to take to the skies? If you remember my first post about this game making its way to the Xbox 360, then you know I am. Namco Bandai announced today that its highly anticipated flight action title will hit store shelves on October 23, 2007. (a week before my birthday) Exclusively for the Xbox 360, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation brings the popular Ace Combat series to the next generation with a massive multiplayer online experience, photorealistic high-def graphics, an all new story, and brand new gameplay that includes features like the Allied Support System and Dynamic Operations System, that radically change the way missions can be completed.

“Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation is the most robust Ace Combat game to date and will be a killer flight action game to own on the Xbox 360 this Holiday Season,” Makoto Iwai, Senior Vice President and COO of Namco Bandai Games America Inc. said. “With some of the most incredible and realistic HD graphics ever seen and extensive online multiplayer modes, there will be no other game out on the market like it.”
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation will re-define the flight action genre as players will be able to take their planes online for the first time ever in the series, to compete in adversarial and team-based dogfights. The power of the Xbox 360 allows for a totally immersive living battlefield, where players will find more aggressive and smarter enemies in larger numbers than ever before. Calling upon allies with the new massive-scale Allied Support System will be the key for survival against such powerful foes.
It’s set to retail for an estimated price of $59.99. Launching on the same day, the exclusive limited edition Ace Combat 6 ACE-EDGE Flightstick Bundle has an estimated retail price of $149.99. I’m pumped for this game! I’ve been waiting to take to the skies with some real action since I can’t get my Crimson Skies next-gen fix. I hope Ace Combat 6 doesn’t disappoint. I’ve played AC 5 on PlayStation 2 and I loved it so my hopes are high. Are you ready to fly?
The boys over at Gamespot have a very interesting video up covering some key features from 2K Sports’ All-Pro Football 2K8. Jeff Thomas, VP of Sports Technology at Visual Concepts, sits down to discuss the customization, gameplay and other things fans can expect from APF 2K8.

I’ve stood firm on the fact that the fruity uniforms will be a nice sized obstacle for me to get over but what about you? I have no doubts about the gameplay we can expect from this title but how much fun is it going to be playing with players that are well beyond their football years? I’d much prefer to pull off a Tony Romo touchdown pass to Terrell Owens than a screen pass from Joe Montana to Barry Sanders.
I’m happy to see 2K Sports making a return to the gridiron but I would’ve much preferred a “proper” return that included an NFL license and some ESPN presentation.
What say you? Are you ready for some football albeit the non-NFL variety?
U.S. gamers will finally have the chance to join Shu and his friends in the eagerly awaited Blue Dragon for Xbox 360, when the game journeys to retailers on August 28! Blue Dragon will ship to retailers throughout North America for the estimated retail price of $59.99. Now we get to play the game that caused such a stir in Japan.

Screenshots: Blue Dragon
Blue Dragon will usher in the next generation of RPG exclusively on the Xbox 360, with a combination of realistic environments, anime-styled characters, unique battles and a deep, compelling storyline. Gamers will find themselves exploring and discovering the vast world of Blue Dragon as they assume the role of Shu, a young boy who along with his band of four friends, embarks on a quest to combat the evil forces that have come to their world. These unlikely heroes possess miraculous strength and the magical power to control their phantom shadow creatures that range from a Minotaur to a phoenix to a dragon and more.
I’m at odds on this title but very interested nonetheless. It brought about a significant change in 360 perception over in Japan so I’m eager to see what kind of punch it packs. Will the US crowd warm up to it the way our friends across the ocean have?
I love gadgets. I love new technology and all these fancy little devices that find their way to consumers every year. One of these fancy devices is Apple’s iPhone. Tomorrow is a day that I’m sure quite a few people have been waiting for as the iPhone will be available for purchase. It’s a completely touch sensitive phone that looks incredibly sexy in my opinion. Until ofcourse you get down to its price tag. The iPhone is available for $499 or $599 depending on your storage preference. You’d also have to fork over about $60-$100 per month for a 2-year subscription service with AT&T wireless.
I looked at those prices and decided to ask how many are planning on buying the iPhone? For the price of it and its service, you could get 2 Xbox 360 Pro consoles, 2 Xbox Live subscriptions (12 months) plus 4 games and an extra wireless controller. I know it makes no sense to ask or compare but it’s my party and I can ask if I want to. The price of the iPhone is crazy despite how sexy it looks and the cool features. (oh how I want to just touch it)
I know we’re all gamers here but at the same time I know that many of you are into things like this. I know one of you was planning on buying it until you thought about what that price means compared to your gaming hobby. Blame me for those doubts lol. If I had the money though, I’d buy it. I wonder how mobile games will translate on it.
Well I just wanted to throw my love for new gadgets at you. It’s interesting to think about the Xbox 360 things that could be had for the price of an iPhone. But oh how sexy the iPhone is! What say you? Are you getting one?

The hype is steadily building for Rockstar’s latest entry into the Grand Theft Auto series. It’s coming. I can’t say that I”m excited but it’s coming nonetheless. Look for the second trailer titled “Looking For That Special Someone” to debut today at the official site for Grand Theft Auto IV.

Xbox 360 owners can expect it to appear in the Xbox Live Marketplace today as well. Fans itching for some GTA IV goodies right now, can can head out and download the free picture pack and theme for GTA IV! They’re available now.

My excitement level is around the medium level for this one. But I’m sure the legions of Rockstar fans are eagerly awaiting the next-gen appearance of this game. What say you?
