Marvel Ultimate Alliance…it’s Gold Again
You read the title right. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is gold again. By that I mean Activision has released a new version of the game titled Marvel: Ultimate Alliance - Gold Edition.
It’s bigger, badder and has more Super Heroes in it. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition delivers a remastered version of the game and expands the game’s roster with eight new playable characters including, The Incredible Hulk, Magneto, Hawkeye, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom, Cyclops, Nightcrawler and Venom. (yes the ones previously only available via Xbox Live)

So for those of you who don’t own the game, you can get the entire roster of heroes and villains in this new edition. And for those of you who already bought the original version plus dished out your points for the DLC, well hey tough cookie. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance - Gold Edition is now available for the Xbox 360 for $59.99 US. What say you? Isn’t the box art pretty?

They’re pricing it like it’s a brand new game, I don’t think it will sell.

maybe it will. i know a few people passed on it because venom wasn’t in it etc. so maybe. i don’t think they should’ve priced it like that either when the game has been out for a while.

Hmm…..but with this coming out, the original will drop in price. Therefore, those interested in the title should see the how much it would cost to simply get the original (reduced) and then pay for the DLC.

Too bad it was not originally released with the extra characters, but it is still a great game.

I never bought the original Ultimate Alliance, I only rented it. I loved the game, but had to bring it back. This doesn’t seem so bad since I haven’t bought the game yet. I’ll keep my eye on it.

Man, I’ve had this game since January and I really havnt played it much. If you have a friend who bought the new characters from the marketplace, you can have him host a game and then you will have access to the characters as well. It works just like the Crackdown DLC= Great for us cheap gamers
