The Xbox Live Arcade team continues the double scoop of fun as two more classic titles head to the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. I’m not an old school remake guy but Xevious was a big favorite of mine years ago! My little brother’s name is Deveous. Isn’t that odd?

Xevious Info
Xevious was one of the earliest vertical scrolling shooters, and greatly influenced games in this genre. Get ready to play a 100% arcade accurate reproduction of the classic shooter! Uncover hidden bonuses that are scattered throughout the levels just like in the arcade version, where shots to the ground uncover power-ups like Sol towers and 1UPs.

Glad to see multiple games being released the same week, but I wish they were not both older titles. I’d like to see more original content.

I think a good ratio would be 1 original with 1 classic release if MS is to continue with the multiple game releases. That way everyone would “almost” be satisfied (but then again, people would probably still find a way to complain these days)
