I think we all need some good news today don’t we? Universal Studios is bringing my favorite television show to HD-DVD this August! I’m ready to see Sylar and Peter Petrelli face off in high definition (again). For those of you who haven’t been able to see the series in HD (NBC broadcasts Heroes in HD), you’re definitely missing out.
And one of my favorite movies so far this year, 300, is also headed to HD-DVD in July. The combo HD-DVD featuring both the HD version and standard definition version will retail for $39.95. I wrote a review for 300 that for a moment was the top search result for the keywoards ‘300 movie review’. Hey, it was exciting for me.

sweet! I waiting to hear word if “300″ will hit HD-DVD. As for “Heroes”, I now need to decide if I should watched all my Tivo’d shows or just wait for the HD-DVDs.

$39.95. is wayyyyyy too much…no wonder HD-DVD sales have dropped!!!

they do come with the standard version as well so you’re really getting a DVD and an HD-DVD in one. the price isn’t so bad. blu ray discs don’t come as combos.

Depends where you shop. Usually less at places like Wal-Mart, Fry’s, Target…etc.

Hell ya Heroes on HD DVD, i guess its time for me to finally get the 360 HD DVD add on !!!
