HEROES Picture Pack and Theme
I think this Monday has just become my all-time favorite Monday this year! You can now download a Heroes picture pack and theme in the Xbox Live Marketplace. Everyone should know this is my favorite show on television right now. My obsession has leaked onto the site and show since its debut episode.
Picture Pack: 80 Microsoft Points
Theme: 150 Microsoft Points
Thanks for the head’s up UNSCleric. This can only mean one thing. We’re a step closer to seeing the series in HD on the Video Marketplace! I have an ongoing thread about it that I hope does its part to land the series on the Video Marketplace.

I watched the first 11 episodes in HD with cable but thy didnt all fit in my DVR…….gotta get back to watching it sometime. Good show but how good is the picture pack?

I am a HUGE fan of Heroes, but I have one rule, and that is to never ever waste points on themes and gamer pics.

the only thing i buy from the marketplace are picture packs. i think i bought one theme before. i’m not too sure. but i think i’ve only ever bought one if any. i need to practice some control on my picture pack purchases lol if these look good though, i’m going to spring the 80 points. either on this one or the other picture packs in the series.

I have a hard time buying picture packs/themes that advertises upcoming movies or shows. Yes, I know we buy movie merchandise all the time, but I guess I’ve been spoiled by the ‘free’ pics/themes that hit the marketplace.

I know everyone enjoys Marketplace but I just use DVR instead of buying and use NBC’s Website. I watched all 18 episodes on their website then started to watch it when the final five came back. It’s a really good show but I don’t see the point in downloading marketplace videos, renting I’m okay with but if it’s video I want to buy it on a source where I can at least watch it on my iPod, renting is fine with me though.

I agree. Heroes is a great show. One of my favorites, but I’m not paying for a theme when I can just go download a wallpaper and copy it over to my 360 to use as the background with a USB drive.

Glad that Hero’s might be coming to the VMP, but I don’t like the idea of NBC basically charging us to advertise their Show.
Most of the TV/Movie studio’s figured out that gamerpics are good advertising and offer them free. I think it was a little Bold of NBC to charge people money to promote their show. These should of been free.

I agree, Heroes is definitely one of my favorite shows. We shouldn’t have to pay to advertise tv shows and movies. It just not right. That being said, i did actually buy one tv theme/pic pak, Battlestar Galactica. I just hope this isn’t a trend since there was a movie ad pack that they recently started charge for too.
